Happy Memorial Day!

We spent our 2nd Memorial Day in another country.  Days like Memorial Day, sure make you miss home. But, this year, we were pretty lucky because two special people happened to be here.  Brian's Dad & Kim (his stepmom) were our first visitors to brave the D.F.!  It was super exciting to show them our new home, but that is for another blog.

On Memorial Day, we sent the little ones off to school and headed to the American Cemetary here in Mexico City.  (The kids don't get American Holiday's off, and Ky had her PYP exhibition that same day...I will share that in another blog.)  Back to Memorial Day...we were the first people to arrive at the Cemetary so we were able to get some really nice pics.  One thing about attending these ceremonies is that it's nice to see that our service members and their sacrifices are not forgotten, no matter where we are.

I'm Back...again.

This blogging once a month thing is getting old.  FAST!  I really need to find my "groove" and figure out how to get some writing time in.  Thing is, I started work last month (full time) and between that, school and life in general, I'm pretty much worn out.  But, I am going to get a few of my "important" posts out of the way.  I just need to make a note to myself on what I should write about.  So, forgive me, but here are some things that I think need to be shared...SOON!

  • Ky's Exhibition
  • Ky's "Stepping Up" ceremony (aka 5th grade promotion)
  • 4th of July
  • Me heading back to work
  • Kids on Summer Vacation
I'm going to have to go back through some pictures and see if there is anything I forgot.  Hoping I blogged about our first visitors to the D.F.
