August in Milan

August in Milan is... A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!  Everyone, well the locals, all leave the city for the month.  The streets that usually look likes this...

If I was Italian, and spent my entire life here, I would leave in July and gladly stay here in August.  The only down fall is that you see these all over the city

and the store where I buy my Coriandolo (Cilantro), is closed from August 2 - August 29!  UGH!

But, other than that, this is BY FAR the best month to be in Milan.
